When I rebooted Wild Die in January I promised myself that I would make sure that updating the site didn’t become a chore; an albatross hanging over my head sapping the fun out of creating for Savage Worlds. I have to remind myself that even though it’s been a few since an update, I need to keep that focus. I traveled a week for work, came back to the mass of work that piles up while you’re gone and caught back up with life. So things are now settled back and I can turn some attention to finishing up and getting some Savaged related posting done.
Remember…it’s all for fun.

Seems that a handful of blogs either geared towards Savage Worlds or featuring Savage Worlds content have come out from under the sheets lately. I’ve added a list of those that I know about on the right side list. Check them out, and if you know of any others, let me know as I’d like to check them out myself and add them as well.
2009 Wild Die Relaunch

Welcome to the first post of the Wild Die relaunch for 2009…this time with a more focused approach and no self-imposed pressure to post on a daily basis. Wild Die will be returning to its original purpose, concentrating on all things Savaged. What form this will take exactly is beyond me at this moment, but I do have some ideas brewing in my head…
- Capsule Settings – Look at these as being similar to “pitches” for television pilots; snippets of setting ideas that may or may not be added to in future blog posts.
- Episodes – Going along with our television themed setting pitches, short adventure summaries that tie into one (or more) capsule settings.
- Media Flash – Things in the media (be it the newspaper, a magazine, television, a movie, online source, etc.) that catch my attention and can somehow be twisted for Savage Worlds.
Of course along with all of these (and other things I may think up) could be write ups for extras, monsters, edges, powers, or anything else Savage Worlds rules related. I’m not going to get to ambitious with this, aiming for a single post a week so that things don’t feel like a chore as blogs often will.
The new year should be fun…let’s see what it brings.
